Sorry about that. Sometimes the edges of the mouse feet may not be rounded enough causing scratchiness. If you have a hardpad, you can use the mouse on it for a day or two, or make a couple of large circular motions while pressing down on the mouse for 20 seconds at a time until you see the white mouse feet have a glossy shine to them, you should be able to break in and smooth out the mouse feet to get a consistent glide.
